The Experience
It was our first run as a couple. We literally ran together! We really didn't have a choice as our hands were tied together by a garter (well even if we did have a choice, we'll still run together... hihihi). It was also our first 3K run as we usually do 5K.
We had fun running together and seeing other couples do the same... and I mean all kinds of couples (male-female, male-male, female-female, male-dog, and so on).
There were also a lot of freebies including a tumbler, anti-dandruff shampoo, and other products from sponsors. The loot bag was handed to us in the finish line. No need for extra lines! We find this very efficient. Other fun runs should do something similar.

Best of all, this run for sweethearts literally benefited hearts... kiddie hearts! The Organizer, UP Organization of Business Economics Majors, has designated the Out Patient Department Pediatric Charity Patients of the Philippine Heart Center as the beneficiaries for this run.
Looking forward to the next 143Go Run! I hope they do it again on the month of love!
