The Experience
A few weeks back, Kirsten and I was looking for this place to no avail (we later found out that the place was in Sikatuna Village and NOT Teacher's Village as indicated in the voucher).

Luckily, we finally found this homy place with wooden tables, chairs, and counter. This time, no one can stop us... three!

Yes, we took Buddy the budget piggy with us. Buddy immediately got into a nacho dream swimming in a bed of beef and cheese nachos.

Their nachos were... nachos! It tasted good just like any other nachos. Nothing really special. Their tacos salad was a different story though.

Their tacos salad was a taco shell stuffed with veggies, salsa, and cream. It was great... until I uncovered what was under the great tasting fresh tomatoes: chunks of chicken meat! Allergy alert!!! Still tasted good though.

Next in line was another Mexican favorite: the burrito. Similar to their nachos, their burrito tasted good just like any other burrito. It is very similar to Taco Bell in terms of taste and price making it a good option if you're craving for some in Diliman. However, I like the cheaper burrito (PhP 68) at Hola better
(a stall near SM Megamall Supermarket).

With excitement gone down, we weren't expecting much from dessert. Mex food places aren't usually known for those anyway. Dwelling on this thought, we were surprised to get this:

Their ice cream wrap made our day. It looked like a burrito filled with vanilla ice cream sprinkled with almonds and choco syrup. It was at par with more expensive crepes in other places. It was a steal at PhP 60!

So if you're up for a taste of Mexico in Maginhawa, Mexican Express is definitely the place.
