The Experience
Bahay ng Alumni at UP Diliman has long been famous for Chocolate Kiss and their signature Devil's Food Cake. Not known to many, there's another great eat place here known as the Restaurant of Choice or ROC.

Kirsten got an Ensogo discount voucher for this place to we went there to try it out. We were greeted by its cheerful facade in the afternoon sun. The interiors, on the other hand, was cozy and relaxing.
We started off with Queso Bianca: their version of the usual Mozarella sticks with a Filipino twist. Instead of Mozarella, they used the local Kesong Puti
The cheese was only half of the story. The salsa and vinaigrette dressing made it a one-of-a-kind gastronomic experience.
The Quattro Funghi (four mushroom) pasta was an equally creamy transition to the main course. The toasted bread that came with it well complements its creaminess.

The highlight of this meal is the Saigon Barbecue. True to its name, it had the signature bean sprouts that comes with many Vietnamese dishes. The beef was tender and had a sweet tangy taste. The yellow rice made it complete.
The place is a bit pricey compared to the average UP Diliman food outlet but its all worth it. We had a great time and we're looking forward to dining here again. We'll probably try their desserts next time.
