The Experience
We were supposed to have lunch at Hungry Hippo in SLEX. But our plan changed all of a sudden when I found Ninyo getting ecstatic upon seeing his good ol' favorite restaurant in Alabang Town Center.
Ninyo and his family frequent Makati Supermarket Coffee Shop several years back, on its now defunct Makati branch. So we ordered Ninyo's favorite dishes to satisfy his long lost cravings.

Makati Supermarket Coffee Shop serves the best dinuguan. It is comparable to Kanin Club's Crispy Dinuguan, with less cholesterol (their version here uses pork meat) and half the price.
The clubhouse sandwich is one of Ninyo's favorite at Makati Supermarket Coffee Shop. He loves it so much that he is willing to suffer from an allergic reaction afterwards.
Just look at how thick the chicken slices are.
The serving size is huge! Big enough to make the two of us full.
It was a fun experience having Ninyo relive his cravings, while I discover them for the first time. I'm sure we will be back for more.
