The Experience
We have always wanted to try having a cheesesteak sandwich but at PhP300 to 700 each, we just think it's not worth it (we'd rather have a sumptuous buffet). So when we saw a Groupon deal for Ultimate Cheesesteak, we grabbed it right away and availed of it on the first day.

Ultimate Cheesesteak has reasonably priced sandwiches prepared fresh right before your eyes. With the Groupon discount, it was bang for the buck. We got two sandwiches: the Ultimate Cheesesteak and Popeye's Hammered Cheesesteak.
Both sandwiches did not disappoint. The Ultimate was more for the cheesesteak purist who wants to stick to the basics: beef, cheese, onions, and more cheese!

The Popeye was for the more health conscious ones. It has some olives (not Popeye's chick) and a good amount of spinach. The artery decloggers complement the beef and the cheese and does no harm on the cheesesteak flavor.
You may also add sides like fries and onion rings. You can also have other add-ons from Mercato's wide range of food stalls.
The free entertainment from the BGC Passionfest truck completed our night. The truck was a full featured stage (with all the pro lights and sounds) with seasoned musicians like Razorback and Basti Artadi (of Wolfgang) performing.

When the truck left, we still had free entertainment courtesy of the football players doing their moves at Turf BGC.
Great food and great entertainments made this Friday night complete!
