The Experience
Ninyo and I wanted to have a light and healthy dinner to compensate for all the oink oink meals that we had in the past few days, so we decided to go to Bigoli. Our plan is to have just a salad and a little something, but seeing all the items on their menu, our EQ gave in!
We ordered the Garden Salad, and for our little something, we had the Minestrone Soup, Tour of Italy (pasta sampler), and Pepperoni Stromboli (rolled pizza) haha.
Tour of Italy consists of Spaghetti Bolognese, Lasagna and Fettuccini Alfredo. This is a good deal because you get to try three of their pasta dishes for just Php 160.
The Garden Salad was served fresh and the thousand island dressing is a wow.
The Minestrone Soup has a very rich flavor. Definitely one of our favorites.
The Spaghetti Bolognese was my favorite pasta dish at Fazoli's, and the same delicious recipe was carried over at Bigoli. The Lasagna has a similar sauce with the Spaghetti Bolognese so I loved it too. The Fettuccini Alfredo was just so-so for me. Well, maybe because I am not a big fan of white sauce pasta.
The Pepperoni Stromboli is our favorite. The tomato sauce dip blends perfectly with the rolled pepperoni pizza. We prefer this over the Bacon Stromboli which has a cheesy dip.
