The Experience

While on our way to Sta.Rosa, Laguna, Kirsten went hungry so we stopped by an equally hungry match: Hungry Hippo!

I've loved Hungry Hippo since the time when still had a branch at Dela Rosa St. Makati. I often had breakfast there with my sister a few years back. I am really happy that we are able to catch them at their Shell SLEX branch.
This hippo shop is famous for its burgers so I had one of my old favorites: their big and juicy cheeseburger! At PhP125, it comes with fries and a drink.
Unlike the mainstream fast food cheeseburgers, theirs are complete with lettuce, cucumber, and tomatoes without having to pay extra.
Kirsten had their Steak 'n Eggs meal:
It's an upscale version of your everyday tapsilog. The generous strips of breakfast steak is served with double yolk eggs and veggies on the side.
The filling breakfast at Hungry Hippo really made our day!
