The Experience

We always wanted to try Indian food but it is not as readily available as other cuisines. When we learned that there's a New Bombay outlet at Food Choices, we were eager to give it a try.

Similar to the other Food Choices establishments (like Cyma's Go Greek, House of Minis, and TOSH Express), New Bombay has a fancy restaurant counterpart with a branch downstairs. In their food stall, it's all bare basics:

Since I'm allergic to chicken, we got two allergen free meals: vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

The vegetarian curry had a lot of mushrooms and young corn. It doesn't look very appetizing but it is packed with an exploding flavor.
Their lamb curry is also rich in spices. The rich taste eliminates the undesirable lamb aftertaste.
Their value meals come with rice and pita bread. Both carb sources tasted uniquely Indian!
Their sauces complement the dishes well. The green stuff really hits the spot!

The side dishes that came with the meal provided some variety. All meals also come with a glass of iced tea.
Having a taste of Indian cuisine is a whole new experience for us. It may not look as good as other cuisines but the spice-packed bonanza makes up well for it.
