The Experience
St. Peter Life Plans held its second "Life Run" last 23 October 2011 in celebration of this year's Death Awareness Week.
Despite being one of the cheapest runs we have joined and some minor problems with the route (water station placement, route crisscross in one intersection, etc.), this may be one of the best for several good reasons.
First, proceeds will go to school supplies for children in public elementary schools. The cause is a must in all the runs we join. So far, we have not joined "commercial" (purely money making) runs. Being an educator myself, I am very much happy to join the run for this cause.
Second, the freebies go way beyond the registration fee. Aside from the St.Peter marked souvenir items (face towel, umbrella, and reusable bag), they also gave away free food and drinks: bread, ice cream, sports drink, and a banana.
They also had the usual photo booth, but this couple is always up for the unusual! Hoping to run again in Life Run 3!

How to get there
- From MRT Taft Station / LRT Edsa Station / LRT Buendia Station, ride a jeep (orange/blue/white colored multicab) to SM Mall of Asia (MOA). Alternatively, you may take a Baclaran via EDSA bus.
- Go off at the SM MOA transport terminal.
