The Experience 

I love peanut butter and I've been wanting to try Peanut Butter Co., ever since I heard of it. I got excited when they opened a branch in Regis Center in Katipunan.

Ninyo and I think that this is a great concept restaurant. Imagine putting peanut butter on everything, and that includes pastas, rice meals and burger. Isn't it creative?

We bought the CashCashPinoy Voucher, which gives Php 300 worth of meal for Php 180. We went there on the first day of the voucher's validity period (that's how excited I am). We ordered the Classic Spaghetti (PhP 135), PB Burger (PhP 185) and the Marshmallow Peanut Butter Sandwich (PhP 75) as dessert. Our total bill was PhP 395, so we paid an extra PhP 95.   

The Classic Spaghetti is a basic red sauce spaghetti with peanut butter on top. It smelled and tasted like Caldereta, because of the combination of the tomato sauce and peanut butter. 

The PB Burger was good. I think the pattie is a quarter pounder, and it is very juicy. The peanut butter as dressing in the burger did not disappoint.

The Marshmallow Peanut Butter Sandwich was a wow. 

I would like to try the other sweet sandwiches. They also have Soda float and Milkshakes, all with peanut butter!

If you plan to go to Peanut Butter Co, I suggest that you order meals in half sizes because the taste of the food tends to be overwhelming half-way through. So it is better to get smaller servings and share it with your date. Plus, you get to try more dishes without ruining your budget.

How to get there

1. From LRT Katipunan Station, walk to the jeep terminal under the Katipunan Flyover.
2. Ride a jeep going to UP Campus or UP Gate/Balara.
3. Get off at the blue-colored pedestrian overpass (the 2nd pedestrian overpass that you will see along Katipunan). PBCo is just across the street.
