The Experience
Ninyo and I bought the Dinelli voucher from Metrodeal because we wanted to have an upscale dining experience on a budget (of course!). The voucher is worth Php 500, which is good for Php 1,000 worth of any items in their menu.
We used the voucher for our monthsary date, expecting expensive menu items. But we were surprised to see that they have meals for as low as Php 200! The serving size is already good for sharing. Best of all, there is no service charge. Our Php 1,000 voucher went a long way here. So here's what we've had:
Tropical Salad (Php 285): This is the only salad in their menu that doesn't contain any allergen for Ninyo, because other salad dishes have either chicken or seafood. It has mandarin oranges, grapes, apples, strawberries, walnuts and kiwis on a bed of lettuce, seasoned with a vinaigrette dressing. Very healthy, yummy, and photogenic too!
Four Cheese Pizza (Php 265): Thin crust pizza topped with expensive-tasting cheese.
Spaghetti Bolognese (Php 250): Ninyo liked this but it is just so-so for me because I prefer red pastas on the sour side.
Italian Garlic Sausage (Php 77): Dinelli is a deli store so we sampled their best seller sausage. The sausage was really flavorful and very juicy. It was served with a Garlic-Mayo and Mustard dip, but we didn't actually use them because the sausage was already good on its own.
Looking at it, who would have thought that this is worth less than Php 100?
Breakfast Set (Php 200): This comes with a sausage omelette, potato pancakes and tea. The omelette contains a generous amount of sausage. The potato pancake is a wow.
The Jasmine Green Tea is the best way to end our sumptuous meal. I am not a fan of flowery smelling teas, but I really really loved this one.
Dinelli is Burgos Circle's hidden gem for budget daters. We are definitely coming back for more!
