The Experience
We've been hearing much about Hecky's Lechon and their organic Cebu-style lechon (or so they say). We got really excited to get a taste of it so we went to Glorietta Food Choices to get some.

It is really rare that we write about something not-so-good here at Budget Dates but I guess this one is worth sharing. We've been reading great reviews about this place but I guess they should closely watch the quality of their product to maintain its consistency.

Our excitement went down when we got 100 grams of rubber-like lechon skin, lechon meat that tasted like a week old, and a bunch of pig bones. It was inedible. I tried munching through the skin to no avail. I tried eating the meat but I just can't swallow it. It tasted really wrong.

PhP 85 down the drain. What the Hecky! Never again! Good thing we had Wendy's Frosty float after to step up our mood.
