The Experience

Up for some great tea blends? Gong Cha is the place to be. With branches in major Metro Manila malls, this store provides a very good alternative to coffee.

Kirsten isn't really a fan of milk tea but Gong Cha's house special is an exception. She got a medium serving of Gong Cha Milk Green Tea. It is somehow similar to Happy Lemon's Green Tea with Rock Salt and Cheese though not as fragrant. The milk is creamier but overall she still prefers Happy Lemon'. Is it because they got her name (or was it my name) wrong?

Coming from my very early morning shift, I got a large serving of Peach Green Tea. We got curious with another customer's fruit jelly add-on so we also had some. And yes, the serving was huge! It had a really strong kick that it kept me awake for more than 20 hours.

Their peach tea was delicious and went well with the jelly. However, I still find the Sheryl's peach iced tea from Secret Oven better. Gong Cha's is an accessible alternative though.

At nearly half the price of drinks at popular coffee shops, Gong Cha's tea blends provides a healthier and more affordable alternative. With the fast service resulting from their very efficient process (yes, we're both Industrial Engineers so we noticed), this will definitely be a shop you'll surely love!
