The Experience
As we were reading reviews of the place, we heard more "horror stories" rather than flower stories. But at PhP 199 per person, the buffet was way better than we expected.
The Metrodeal pictures were indeed unrealistic. No fancy stuff here! With all the horror reviews though, we have somehow managed our expectations.
The food was not spectacular, but for us it isn't that bad. It is an inch above jolly jeep food and feet apart from an average mall buffet. The food is pretty much identical to the catering food served in parties. What I liked best was their pork and veggies. I even had a second serving for this dish. Their chocolate fountain was also not that bad.
The experience wasn't great, but it was not as horrific as described in other reviews. I was diagnosed with gastro enteritis the following evening but I don't put the blame on this buffet. I think I just ate too much (even had a heavy snack and a heavy dinner after).
Still, I don't think we will go back to this place. There are much better buffet places in the same price range. There is no way we will pay the PhP 500 per person regular rate.

How to get there
- From LRT Central Terminal (the one near SM Manila), walk to the pedestrian underpass in front of Manila City Hall.
- Cross the underpass to reach the Intramuros side.
- Ride a green colored pedicab. Ask the driver to bring your to JS Contractor Building.
Note: Normal pedicab fare is at PhP 15 per person. Some drivers charge more.
Landmarks: SM Manila, Manila City Hall, Lagusnilad underpass, Intramuros gate near Mapua, old buildings.
