The Experience

When we took a tricycle ride from Jollibee in front of Trinoma, I was expecting to see a small, canteen-type ice cream parlor. But I was amazed to see a colorful, well-adorned place, right in the middle of a residential area. The only drawback is that the place is not air-conditioned. But who needs air-con when you are going to cool yourself with delicious ice cream?

Ice Cream Shoppe offer a huge variety of ice creams, from ice buko, to ice cream sandwiches to ice cream-based desserts, all are reasonably priced. Aside from ice cream, they also have cakes and pizzas.  We had a hard time choosing what to order because they have a lot of interesting items on their menu.

We decided to get an order of banana split and a pack of bite-sized vanilla flavored ice cream sandwich. The banana split has a scoop each of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ice cream. I love chocolate flavored ice creams and Ninyo loves strawberry, so we had the best of both worlds on this one.

The ice cream sandwich is the best I've ever tasted. It was way better than DQ's. No pictures available though, we got too excited to eat them.

We will definitely come back for more. We will try the lover's delight next time ;)
