The Experience
Kirsten and I has always loved The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) better than its more popular green rival. We even loved CBTL more when they give you free drinks!
You may have come across their Spread the Froth promo in your email Inbox. It is likely that it was shot directly to your Spam folder. As you know, Spam is not always trash to us... and this one is definitely real! All you need to do is register in their site and spread the froth!
We wanted tea that night so we went for two unique CBTL blends: Tropical Fusion and Moroccan Mint. The barista was supposed to make the treats using a personal CBTL espresso machine (which they sell at around PhP 13k). Some technical difficulties made her do it the traditional way.
We have tried the Tropical Fusion blend before and we loved its comforting fruity taste and it did not fail us this time. The Moroccan Mint tastes ordinary at first but you will feel the refreshing minty air as it cools down.
