The Experience
After learning that one of my favorite restaurants already closed down, Kirsten and I decided to head off to Glorietta Food Choices for a quick and satisfying meal. We ended up in El Presidente

El Presidente is a branch of Binondo's President Restaurant. It brings Chinatown into the heart of Makati! They have a menu with most of your Binondo favorites: congee, noodles, dumplings, and more!

We decided to get two set meals: sweet and sour pork and pork spareribs. Both tasted authentic and had generous serving portions. Set meals come with yang chow rice, veggies, and soup. Add a few bucks and you get pancit on the side.

For those who want to experience Binondo without the hassles of crowded roads sprinkled with horse excrement, this is the place for you! Though nothing beats the real thing, El Presidente is the closest you can get to Chinatown when in Makati.
