The Experience

Ayala Museum opened its doors to the public for free last May 18 to celebrate International Museum day. Admission fees in Ayala Museum is a little pricey. The regular admission fees for Adult, non-resident is PhP 425 for access on all four floors.  Click here for the detailed list of admission fees.

Ayala Museum is very well maintained, and it houses a huge collection of items from our history. We were mesmerized by the museum's extensive collection of Amorsolo paintings. It also houses around 50 dioramas, depicting the important events in our history. It also has a collection of gold artifacts from the pre-colonial period, from rings, to hair accessories, to drinking cups and chastity belts.

After our museum tour, we dropped by the Royce' kiosk at Greenbelt to claim the free chocolate bar courtesy of Ninyo's Standard Chartered credit card. We picked the Rum and Raisin chocolate variant. We were munching on it on our way home and it was really, really good. We needed to keep ourselves from eating a lot though, because we were starting to feel light-headed because of the rum.
