The Experience
With the intense heat and the disappointment to find the Beach House Canteen closed, we decided to head off to UniversiTEA to get some cool treats. We got more than cool treats!
The place is far from your average tea shop. It has a lot of UP-themed murals. It also has an expression board with lots of colorful notes on.
Their teas are... well... teas. Gong Cha is still better but at half the price, UniversiTEA is a pretty good deal. I got Jasmine Milk Tea with pearl sinkers and Kirsten got their Strawberry Fruit Tea.
Great place + refreshing drinks = good mood!

How to get there
- From LRT Katipunan Station, walk to the jeep terminal under the Katipunan Flyover.
- Ride a jeep going to UP Campus (NOT UP Gate/Balara... unless you want to walk a few meters).
- Get off at the corner near the Post Office after the UP Shopping Center. Walk towards the street with houses (Lutong Bahay area). You'll find UniversiTEA there.
